Eurofins is an international listed business specialising in high-quality laboratory diagnostics and medical advice. Clinical Diagnostics is a part of Eurofins that entered the Dutch market at the start of 2018. It aims to make a crucial impact on the healthcare industry by offering trustworthy and innovative solutions. To achieve this, you need an up-to-date website that can bundle knowledge, generate strong leads, has excellent interaction and shows relevant information to different target audiences.

The challenge

Eurofins is the global market leader in bio-analytical testing for food, water, environment and pharmaceutical products. They have 58,000 employees working from 900 laboratories situated in 54 countries. Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics (CD) is a part of Eurofins that focuses on primary to tertiary care within clinical diagnostics. Their mission? It is to make a crucial impact on the healthcare industry by offering trustworthy and innovative solutions.

Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics consists of the acquired laboratories LCPL, NMDL, Salux, Medische Microbiologie Alrijne and PAMM. The inquiry to SowiesoDigital was to integrate the old websites into a new website

The goal of the website:

  • To inform: convince visitors that Eurofins is the best business when it comes to clinical diagnostics and its components
  • Interact with customers
  • Generate leads and land new customers:
    • Obtain top 5 positions in Google for search terms
    • Substantially more visitors per month
    • Substantially more visitors who fill in the contact request form

The solution

SowiesoDigital helped Eurofins CD with developing a clear brand identity. With an original, consistent and memorable style. This laid a solid foundation for the design of the new WordPress website. A website that focuses on achieving the main goals: to inform, generate leads, and interact.

Based on search term research, the structure of the website is determined. After a first focus on informing, the website provides an order module for materials for care professionals (based on WooCommerce, an open-source solution for webshops that, like WordPress, is actively supported by Automattic), a subscription module for paid courses and an API-link to unsubscribe from delivery services.

Further development of the site focuses on further enabling diagnostics and examinations for healthcare professionals and patients. An extensive location and meeting tool is also part of the website. Together with the online marketing agency, we use SEO and content to work on an inbound strategy for optimal lead generation with different target audiences that visit the site.

The result
